Last day of 2009

What did you do today?

We spend our last day of 2009 crafting, backing and getting ready for our little New Years Party tonight.

We decidet to make a velt "Happy New Year" sighn. I got this super cute idea from this website.

All we needed was velt, glue and anything pretty to decorate the letters.

I apsolutly LOVE the result. Don't you?

It sure was nice to replace the Merry Christmas sighn with our new one.

Drawing fireworks on the windows.

Can you tell they were excited about it too? ;)

Happy New Year!

Our Sparkly Foam Glitter Ball

This was another fun prodject that keept the kids (and me) bussy for a pretty long time. {grin}
If you haven't checked out the website Kaboose , you got to it! They have a ton of great kraft ideas.

When I saw this one, I cound't wait to get stardet. Who woudn't want to have their very one "ball" on New Years Eve? It's just as glamours as the "big ball" that dropped every year in Times Square!

I did purchase this foam ball at Michaels before hand.

All you needed to do was, poke the chenille stem into the foam ball.

And glue those beautiful rinestones to it.

The secret: The more glue the funner! ;)

Taylor and Lilly spend about half and hour on it, and then the rest was on me! {grin}

But, I didn't mind! I knew it was going to be worth all the work!

To see the finished New Years Eve Ball, check back soon!  ;)
Much Love! ;)

Ten On Tuesday

10. This is mt first "Ten on Tuesday" on my NEW blog!

9. In case you are wondering why I switched blogs. Eventhough I payed each month for my typepad account it was FAR from perfect. I got so froustuarted over the last 2.5 years because typepad would mess up all the time. I can't even tell you how many times posts got deleted! ;(
So I finally made the move to bloglines. AND I LOVE it!

8. The only thing I miss, is that I am not able to show you a preview of my "picture of the day" catagory. I did just reacently added that to the right side bar. "Click" on the "one frame a day" catagory and you are able to see what we are up to each day! Just like on my old blog! ;)

7. This is a my picture of the day today:

6. He LOVES to pull himself up and look out the window.
And would you look at those legs in those baby leggings! Yummy!
{grin}

5. Big News. Yesterday, after two days of building non-stop, Jason and Taylor finished the Green Grocer. This was one big project and I am amazed that 2352 pieces look soooo good! ;)

4. Since Lilly got her new bike for Christmas she has been wanting to wride ever. single. day!
Can you tell she is getting more and more confident?

Look at her stand up...

3. One of Preston's favorite things to do is slide down the slide. He just recently is able to balance and not tip over. Today I had my camera ready to snap a few pictures.

Wohoo!

2. I am pretty sad that Christmas is already over. Soon we will pack up all those beautiful Christmas decoration. I notest that I haven't even blogged about any of it! ;(
Like on of my favorits this year was displaying some of the Christmas cards like this:

 Before I pack up all of it, I thought about snapping a few more pictures and posting them. So stay tooned. ;)

1. Last one for today will be these two shots of Taylor and Lilly jumping for JOY!

And having a good all time!

Happy Tuesday everyone. ;)

Merry Christmas everyone. Oh, how I love this time of the year. I still can't believe that Christmas is over!
We all had a wonderfull couple of days and the kids loved oppening their presents and spending time with family! Of course I was ready to snap a few pictures of the kids oppening up their presents.

(one of the gifts in their stockings was these cute striped socks!)

Lilly was so excited to find her own kids nail polish in her stocking. She had to paint her nails right away! ;)

Oh, ohhh so pretty!

These two crack me up! They usuelly hide when the camera comes out! But this time around Taylor and Lilly were jumping into my pictures!

Preston on the other hand didn't care so much about posing!
